ABOUT THE STUDY
The NIH commissioned Thomson Reuters Analytics experts to investigate the association between an NIH applicant’s race or ethnicity and their chance of receiving an award. The study was part of a larger effort to examine and improve the diversity of its funded biomedical research workforce. In addition to highlighting the breadth of our analytic services, this paper underscores the utility of Web of Science in measuring scientific achievement.
