WHAT'S NEW

A new release of InCites — available now!

March 17, 2010: A new version of InCites has just been released. Whether you're an analyst or administrator, the latest features improve navigation and usability for everyone at your institution.

The latest enhancements include:

Saving and Sharing

  • Saved Sets: Need to view Applied Mathematics publication output again for Canada’s G13? Select necessary parameters when creating your report and click “Save Set”. Easily retrieve common reports without having to re-enter information.
  • Shared Reports: No more exporting or emailing necessary. Avoid duplicating efforts by choosing the “Share” feature for Saved Reports of interest to your user group. All authorized users at your institution will be able to view the report you created by going into the Shared Reports folder

Bird’s Eye View

  • Executive Summary Report:  Ideal for the busy administrator. Provides a brief overview of performance at your institution, showing the most productive authors and disciplines. Located in the Overview & Summary Metrics section of Research Performance Profiles

More Meaning Behind the Metrics

  • Hover windows now appear when you place your cursor over various metrics in your dataset, such as “2nd Generation Citations per Citing article,” showing definitions and providing you with more meaning behind the metrics

Expand Your Timeframe

  • New time periods: In Global Comparisons, where output and impact statistics are available for institutional and national benchmarking purposes, you can now select the most recent 5 year or 10 year (cumulative) time periods when generating a report.
